The Art of My Scars (2016)

Our friend Kay J. Browning, from Devon, UK, we met through Beccy Strong, who participated in the exhibition “neXus. New looks in European documentary photography” [a project of ENMaP (European Network of Master Studies in Photography), in which the Master in Photography, Art and Technique of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, one of our main collaborators participates], Kay he sends us a very good video (the one you can see above), which is of particular interest because it shows how quickly the ways in the visibility of transgender FtM are changing. Remember our first video, which was shown here on the occasion of the exhibition “The Inverted Classroom. Pedagogic strategies and artistic practices from sexual diversity”, on that occasion, following the work that was shown in that exhibition “Not all bodies measure 7 heads and a half”, 2014, by Juan Francisco Martínez Gómez de Albacete [see here] Enjoy it the video of Kay J. Browning (made by James Land, director, and Emily Mitchell, producer).
