Mr. Romà de la Calle de la Calle, President

Romà de la Calle (Alcoy, 1942) is Professor of Aesthetics and Art Theory at the University of Valencia, President of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Carlos, Honorary President of the Valencian Association of Art Critics, a member of Trustees of the Museum of the University of Alicante (MUA) and the Special Martínez Guerricabeitia General Foundation of the University of Valencia. He holds the Cruz Alfonso X the Wise and the Silver Medal of Professional Merit from the Ministry of Education.

Mr. Álvaro de los Ángeles Rodríguez, Vocal

Álvaro de los Ángeles (Valencia, 1971), Master of Fine Arts in Norwich School of Art and Design, Associate Professor of Department of Communication, Information and History of Art at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Assistant director of Activities and Cultural Programs IVAM, independent exhibition curator and critic art.

Mr. Guillem Cervera Pascual, Secretary

Guillem Cervera Pascual (Valencia, 1959), holds a degree in Law from the University of Valencia, holds doctorate degrees in the Department of Urbanism of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and obtains a Doctorate from the University of Barcelona. In the last phase of the research that gave rise to the thesis, on urban renewal, it focuses on the fact that in the field of urbanism the law has entrusted the production of legal effects to the planes ―a type of image―, when it is usually based on language, which guides its postdoctoral research towards the study of the image. In this context he founded La Posta, the Image Research Center.

Mrs. María José Martínez de Pisón Ramón, Vocal

Maria Jose Martinez de Pison (Valencia), PhD from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts of San Carlos of Valencia -studies degree and Master of Visual Arts and Multimedia-, a founding member of Laboluz, founding member of the Cultural Association Plutón.cc, researcher and artist.

Mrs. Carmen Pardo Salgado, President

Carmen Pardo Salgado (Barcelona, 1963), is Professor at the University of Gerona (UoG) where she teaches History and Aesthetics of Music. Director of the International Conference on Studies in the Sonora Culture of the UoG. Post-doctoral researcher at the IRCAM-CNRS unit in Paris (1996-1998 and 2018). She was responsible for the editing and translation of John Cage, Written in your ear (1999). Author of In the silence of culture (Sexto Piso, 2016 / Eterotopia France, 2018); Oblique listening: an invitation to John Cage (Sexto Piso, 2014 / L’Harmattan, 2007, awarded with the Coup de cœur 2008 by the Académie Charles Cross); Robert Wilson (in collaboration with Miguel Morey, Polígrafa, 2003, Spanish and English version); ICT: a philosophical reflection (Laertes, 2009); In the sea of John Cage (La Central, 2009). She has been deputy curator (music section) of the exhibition: Encuentros de Pamplona 1972: End of the party of experimental art, held at the Reina Sofía National Museum Art Center (2009-2010).

Mrs. Natividad Navalón Blesa, President

Natividad Navalón Blesa (Valencia, 1961). PhD in Fine Arts, Professor head of department of Projects at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Director of the research group New Sculptural Procedures, UPV, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Altea, member of the Board of Directors of the Instituto Seda España, member of the Scientific Committee of the BR:AC magazin. His work has been exhibited at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (MNCARS), the Valencian Institute of Modern Art (IVAM), the Spanish Museum of Contemporary Art and the Conde Duque Cultural Center in Madrid, the Girona Art Museum, the Bancaja Foundation, Centro del Carmen and Sala Parpalló in Valencia, Fundació Caixa de Pensions of Barcelona, Palau Solleric in Palma de Mallorca, Pablo Gargallo Museum in Zaragoza, Círculo de Bellas Artes, Casa de Velázquez and Fundación Telefónica in Madrid. Mrs. Isabel Tejeda Martín, Vocal

Isabel Tejeda Martín (Madrid, 1967; resident in Alicante). She graduated in Art History from the University of Alicante in 1990; Doctorate studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts of San Carlos, Valencia, and PhD from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) in 2009. She was director of the Eusebio Sempere Center, located in the Gravina Palace, headquarters of the Museum of Fine Arts of Alicante, between 1991 and 1995, and head of the Sala Verónicas and the Espacio AV de Murcia, between 1998 and 2010. She is a professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts from the University of Murcia since 2004. She was co-Director of the Master in Management of Historical and Cultural Heritage at the Complutense University of Madrid until 2012. Curator of exhibitions (Selection): Indefinite Territories. In the last phase of the research that gave rise to the thesis, on the obsolescence of the city, urban renewal and its link with growth, it focuses on the fact that in the field of urbanism the law has entrusted the production of legal effects to the planes ―a type of image―, when it is usually based on language, which guides its postdoctoral research towards the study of the image. In this context, he created La Posta Foundation, Image Research Laboratory, and directed his personal research towards the art of the territory within a theoretical framework of transculturality.
